(CercleFinance.com) – bp announces the signing with the Sultanate of Oman of a strategic framework agreement and a renewable energy data collection agreement that will support a potential world-class multi-gigawatt development in the country , by 2030.
The British energy group will capture and assess solar and wind data over 8,000 km2, an assessment which will then help the government to approve the future development of renewable energy centers at suitable locations in this land area.
“Renewable energy resources could also provide renewable energy for green hydrogen development, targeting both domestic and global export markets,” bp said.
