(CercleFinance.com) – Bpost announces that on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of
bpostgroup has today appointed Chris Peeters as the new CEO of bpostgroup, for a period of 6 years.
Born 56 years ago, Chris Peeters has headed Elia since 2015, the group responsible for managing the high-voltage electricity transmission network in Belgium.
Previously Chris Peeters led the business consulting activities of
Schlumberger in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Russia but also spent 14 years at McKinsey (including seven as a partner), specializing in the energy sector.
In 2021, he was named Manager of the Year by the business and financial magazine Trends for being ‘a hardworking and visionary manager, who keeps both feet on the ground and makes things happen with calm and serenity, reconciling the interests and the expectations of the various stakeholders’.
