The rumor mill in Hollywood is seething: Actor Brad Pitt, 57, is said to be freshly in love. The Hollywood star currently has little to laugh about because of his never-ending war of divorce with Angelina Jolie, 45. A new flame in his life is sure to be a welcome distraction.

According to reports in the US media, the Hollywood darling is said to have fallen in love with soul and R&B singer and actress Andra Day, 36. As “RadarOnline” reports, Brad Pitt is said to have made an initial contact during the Oscar awards in the backstage area and flirted heavily with her. “Andra has been on Brad’s radar for a while,” a source told The Mirror. “They flirted backstage and are said to have exchanged their phone numbers. Brad’s buddies are already rumoring what a great couple they would make. Andra has all the qualities that grab his attention,” the insider continued. “Brad especially loves her confident demeanor about Andra”.

Brad was the guest laudator at this year’s Oscars, while Andra was nominated for best leading actress for her role as legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday (1930-1959) in the biopic “The United States vs. Billie Holiday”. For this role she has already been awarded the “Golden Globe”. The extremely talented singer and actress was born in Washington and is considered Hollywood’s new shooting star. “Andra definitely turned Brad’s head,” said an insider in OK Magazine. “He can spot real talent from a mile away, and he’d love to work with her on one of the projects he’s developing for his production company.” We will soon find out whether this ‘project’ will continue to develop professionally or privately.
