The list of ingredients for 2 wraps:

  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 bowl of panko breadcrumbs (or classic)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of flour
  • a few leaves of sucrine salad
  • 2 handfuls of fried onions
  • spices (paprika, salt)
  • soy sprouts

For the sauce:

  • 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise
  • 5 cl of liquid cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 shallot
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • a few sprigs of chives

The steps of the recipe:

  1. Start by breading your goat cheese slices. To do this, place the goat cheese slices in the flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Repeat the operation twice to obtain a very crispy crust.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat with a little olive oil and when it is simmering, fry the goat cheese for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare the wrap sauce. Mix the mustard, mayonnaise, crème fraîche, chopped shallot, chives and lemon juice.
  4. Spread a good tablespoon of sauce in the center of the wrap, add the salad, goat cheese, fried onions, sprouted seeds then close the wrap.

Can the wrap be eaten cold?

A wrap is ideal for eating on the go. You can make it with just about anything you have on hand and in just a few minutes, it’s ready. This preparation has the particularity of being eaten cold or hot. A bit like bobun, it depends on what you put in it. Here, the cook chose to garnish it with breaded goat cheese, but we could very well make a version with tuna and cream cheese or with smoked salmon and avocado. Do as you wish and enjoy!
