(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission announces that it has authorized the acquisition of exclusive control of Windar Renovables (Windar) of Spain by Bridgepoint Group (Bridgepoint) of Luxembourg.
The transaction mainly concerns the manufacturing of wind towers and offshore foundations for wind turbines.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given that the companies are not active on the same or vertically linked markets.
The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
