It’s an experience and an invitation they probably weren’t expecting when they signed up to attend Star Academy! This Wednesday, December 13, all the apprentice singers of the show still in the running had the chance to go to the presidential palace in order to participate in the Élysée Christmas tree, a traditional celebration organized every year and attended by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, his wife First Lady Brigitte Macron, but also many guests and of course, children!
The official images of the visit will only be revealed during the daily program broadcast this Thursday, December 14, but already, first extracts were broadcast on social networks. On one of them, visible below, the First Lady, who is not afraid to play with her image, welcomes the young academicians in one of the rooms of the palace where she plays the role of luxury guide for a visit as exceptional as it is unforgettable for young apprentices.

Star Academy: a trying week for the candidates
This unusual little adventure in the great adventure that is the Star Academy surely allowed the candidates to take a breath outside the Castle, while the end of the week promises to be particularly trying for them. In addition to a bonus brought forward to Friday, due to the Miss France election ceremony this Saturday, December 16, six of the eight candidates still in the running have their place called into play in the Star Academy concert tour coming in 2024. Axel, Candice, Clara, Djebril, Julien and Pierre are therefore not sure they will experience this incredible opportunity next year. Only Héléna and Lénie are assured to continue the adventure and participate in the 2024 tour.
This particularly stressful situation is enough to make certain candidates lose their means. Following this announcement and after the debrief of his performance on the previous prime, Djebril questioned his entire participation in the adventure, while stage fright made Julien lose his composure during his performance for the evaluations.
