Lawyer announces “aggressive” action

Britney Spears has a new lawyer to fight guardianship. This now announced an “aggressive and swift” approach.
Celebrity lawyer Mathew Rosengart should fix it: Britney Spears (39) relies on a well-known name who has already represented numerous superstars in court in the fight for guardianship. On Monday (July 19) he announced that he would proceed “aggressively and quickly” against the guardianship of Jamie Spears (69), as reported by the US site “Page Six”. Accordingly, the lawyer and his law firm want to apply for the removal of Britney Spears’ father, “unless he resigns first,” as Rosengart said in front of a courthouse in Los Angeles. There should be another hearing in the court next week.
Britney Spears’ public defender Sam Ingham resigned his mandate in early July after 13 years, after which the singer looked for a new lawyer in a dispute with her father. Ingham had previously criticized her for not fully informing her about her rights.
After Britney Spears’ mental breakdowns, her father was appointed as her guardian by a court in 2008. Since then he has made decisions about her life and her finances. The mother of two has been trying to break free from her father’s guardianship since 2014. She receives support from many fans who draw attention to the case under the hashtag #FreeBritney.
