Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera? The singer has now publicly complained on Instagram because Christina avoided a question about her during a red carpet appearance – and accused her of lying.
US singer Britney Spears, 39, has complained about her colleague and former competitor Christina Aguilera, 40, for evading a question about her during a red carpet appearance at the Latin Grammy Awards.
Britney Spears accuses Christina Aguilera of lying
In an Instagram story, Spears shows the excerpt in which Aguilera is asked by a reporter whether she has had contact with Spears since the end of her guardianship. Then she looks at her speaker, who pulls her away with the words “no, we won’t do that tonight – I’m sorry”. Aguilera also says: “But I’m happy for her.”
Spears comments on the excerpt with clear words: “I love and adore everyone who has supported me … but refusing to speak when you know the truth is tantamount to a lie!”, She writes.

In another story, Spears thanked Lady Gaga, 35, who gave a detailed answer when asked about the termination of Spears’ guardianship. “Thank you Lady Gaga for really taking the time to say something nice,” she writes. “You made me cry! I love you.”

After the singer had mental breakdowns, Britney Spears’ father was appointed by a court as her guardian in 2008. Since 2014, the mother of two is said to have tried to break free from this regulation.
Her father’s guardianship of property and person was officially ended on Friday. The temporary guardian John Zabel will still have “administrative powers” over her property for a transitional period.
