Britney Spears has reportedly signed a $15 million book deal. Her memoirs should not only be about her career.

Britney Spears (40) has according to “Page Six” landed a lucrative book deal. A publisher is said to have secured the rights to the singer’s memoirs for 15 million US dollars (equivalent to around 13 million euros). Before that, a veritable bidding war between publishers is said to have raged, an insider explained, emphasizing: “The deal is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas.” The rights to the books by Barack (60) and Michelle Obama (58) are said to have been worth more than $60 million in 2017.

Does she settle accounts with her family?

The publisher itself and the singer have not yet commented on a possible deal. The tell-all book is said to be about Spears’ career, her “toxic” life and her family. Spears had already hinted that she would be ready to write a book after her father ended her tutelage. “Shall I start over?” she wrote in early January to an Instagram picture, which showed an old typewriter. She also sees herself misrepresented in her sister Jamie Lynn Spears (30) book “Things I Should Have Said” and in some documentaries. With her own work she could now straighten these representations.
