TF1 decided to spoil its viewers in November. After the successful launch of the 11th season of star Academy on Saturday 4, Muriel Robin will play a professor-detective in the event series Master Crimeswith his wife Anne Le Nen, from Thursday 9. November 30It is Julien Doré who must arrive on the small screen with the event series Panda. The first channel has just announced the date of its broadcast on social networks, also revealing its casting. Alongside the interpreter of Feverwe will notably find Ophelia Kolb (Profiling, Ten percent…), which has already shone recently in the Netflix series TapieGustave Kervern and Hélène Vincent (Samba, Life is a long quiet river…).
Julien Doré plays a former cop called Victor Pandaloni (nicknamed Panda) who moved away from his previous life by becoming a bartender “relaxed pacifist and fan of cool”and manager “a small hut in a remote corner of the Camargue”according to the press release from TF1. This totally disconnected character lives without a cell phone, has no “no computer, no car”with at his side “her 16 year old teenager” in a “perfect cocoon of peace and serenity”. The synopsis specifies that the ex-cop is finally forced to return to service, “but in his own way”, “without weapons or violence and not too early in the morning”. In other words, a quirky comedy !

Julien Doré soon back on stage
This role seems to have been written for Julien Doré, who left Paris to live remote in the Cévennes, with his two dogs and his little boy born in 2021. “Apart from certain caricatures, Panda is me!”affirms the artist during an interview given to TF1. “My life in the Cévennes fits exactly with the way he evolves in his environment. The straw hut, his relationship with others, his clothing appearance are all similarities. I felt good in this character because I didn’t have to deceive myselfnor to go look for someone else”, he also wants to emphasize. Julien Doré also explains that he succeeded, “as the filming progresses”, “to inject a little humor“who is his, “sometimes just with a look or a facial expression”.
It must be said that this is not the singer’s first attempt. He also made an appearance in the series Ten percentin 2017, and had previously starred in the films Pop Redemption by Martin Le Gall in 2013, and With us it’s three ! by Claude Duty at the same time. That year, he also published his successful album Love which contains, among other things, the tube Paris-Seychelles. Impatient to find his audience again, Julien Doré had just announced his comeback musical next by revealing with humor the dates of a Zénith tour, planned in 2025.
