Broadpeak Combines QoD Network API Capabilities with BkS450 Streaming Software and Confirms Successful Testing with Deutsche Telekom Network APIs and Microsoft Azure Programmable Connectivity

CESSON-SÉVIGNÉ, France — February 26, 2024 — Broadpeak®, a leading provider of content delivery network (CDN) and video streaming solutions for content providers and video operators (service providers) in the worldwide, today announced that it has partnered with Microsoft Azure and Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier to improve video streaming experiences on mobile devices. Broadpeak’s BkS450 high-performance video streaming software is enriched with Quality of Service on Demand (QoD) network API capabilities to improve the stability of video streaming for mobile users. Deutsche Telekom’s Azure Programmable Connectivity (APC) solution and network APIs are used to process and enforce QoD requests. The three companies successfully tested the solution on Telekom’s Cloud Edge platform in Berlin, Germany.
