Agreement after dispute with wedding planners

Brooklyn Beckham, his wife and their father have reached an agreement with two wedding planners after a year-and-a-half dispute.
It was almost a year and a half ago: In April 2022, Brooklyn Beckham, 24, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 28, said yes at a bombast wedding in Miami. Now, after an extended legal battle, the couple and bride’s father and billionaire Nelson Peltz, 81, have settled with the originally hired wedding planners at PDE, as reported by the “Daily Mail”..
Deposit not returned?
The affair seemed to have no end. But now the parties to the dispute are announcing a settlement of their legal feud. Father Peltz, a very wealthy hedge fund manager, on whose property the wedding took place in Miami, had made serious allegations against Nicole Eichenwald Braghin and Arianna Grijalba from the company Plan Design Events Miami, PDE for short, and sued them.
On the one hand, they would not have paid back the deposit of $159,000 he had deposited. In addition, they were not up to the task, the size and the prominence of the wedding. At that time, both event planners had been hired six weeks before the wedding. Nine days later they were out of the job again.

Both parties are now announcing that an agreement has been found. Among other things, it provides for a donation by PDE on behalf of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz to the “CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund”. Otherwise, PDE wishes Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham a “happy and fruitful life together,” according to the PDE statement.
In the past few months, Peltz-Senior never got tired of publicly mocking the company. In view of the expected 500 guests of the highest rank, the two women were completely overwhelmed: “During their nine-day term of office, they did not comply with the terms of the contract and missed important meetings. The celebrity of the bridal couple combined with that of their guests would have required that the wedding planners plan an event of this caliber.”
The lawyer for the wedding planners counters that his clients have a good reputation to defend when it comes to hosting high-profile weddings around the world. That doesn’t sound like a complete agreement.
