Suffering from aphasia, affecting his cognitive abilities, eventually leading to the total or partial inability to express himself and/or to understand written, oral or gestural language, Bruce Willis decided to put an end to his career. He announced it via a press release co-signed with his wife Emma Heming and his ex-wife Demi Moore, last March. After having shot in his last feature film “Paradise city”, which will be released in the United States next November, Bruce Willis devotes himself to his family, especially his wife and his two youngest daughters, aged 10 and 8. In fact, it was magic”. The video which delighted many fans, collected an endless number of messages of love for the actor and his family. “I’m so happy for your family and Bruce seems to be doing well”, “Your daughters are beautiful. All the love and fun is so sweet to see. Your husband is loved by so many. His talent has brought laughter and excitement to so many”, “Thank you Bruce Willis, you are an incredible inspiration and to me the most awesome actor on this planet.” wrote some of them.
Bruce Willis can rest with his eyes closed on Emma, 44, and mother of his two youngest daughters, Mabel Rey, 10, and Evelyn Penn, 8. It is indeed the first to have communicated on the aphasia which affects Bruce Willis, publishing a message on his Instagram account “This is a really difficult time for our family and we so appreciate your love, compassion and support… As Bruce always says, ‘Live it right’ and together we’ll make it through.”
A bubble of love to ease the pain
This summer, Emma Heming had already shared a video explaining to her subscribers “It was the summer of self-discovery, finding new hobbies, getting out of my comfort zone and staying active. My grief can be crippling, but I’m learning to live with it. Like my stepdaughter Scout LaRue Willis told me, grief is the deepest and purest form of love. I hope you find comfort there too.“Since the announcement of his illness, the entire Willis clan has united around the couple, starting with Demi Moore, with whom Bruce Willis had three daughters. RumorTallulah and Scout, aged 33, 30 and 27 respectively. Surrounded by his five children and thanks to the good understanding between the two women in his life, Bruce Willis seems to be able to face the future as calmly as possible.
