On March 30, Bruce Willis’ family announced in an Instagram post that the 67-year-old actor put an end to his career following serious health problems. “Our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and was recently diagnosed withaphasiawhich impacts his cognitive abilitieswe write Emma Heming, his wife, Demi Moore, his ex-wife, and his five daughters, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel and Evelyn. Therefore, and after careful consideration, Bruce abandons this career that meant so much to him..”
Since this difficult announcement, messages of support for the actor and his relatives have rained down on social networks. This Friday 1er April, Emma Heming Willis therefore decided to speak on Instagram. In a sober message, she simply thanked her subscribers for their support, revealing a deep pain. “Your love, support, compassion and prayers really help, she wrote. I am grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Suffering from aphasia, Bruce Willis would suffer in particular from difficulties in expressing himself and understanding oral language. Cognitive problems that would have started to appear on film sets a few years ago, as a source close to the Hollywood landscape recently revealed to the media Page Six. “Everyone knew Bruce had issues.says the source. Everybody. The actors, the technicians… His family decided to help him. They moved to take care of him. They used stunt doubles, not just in the action scenes, but to maximize his screen time.
