Bruno Guillon: “I had my period of purgatory when I took over Les Z’amours”

With very good daily audience scores for his game Everyone his turn on France 2, the host has the honors of the first part of the evening, Saturday February 26 at 9:10 p.m.

The formula of Each in turn will it evolve for the needs of this bonus?

Bruno Guillon: We are going to put guests face to face instead of ordinary candidates. They will try to earn as much money as possible for the Restos du Coeur. And to maintain the energy, the duels will be interspersed with happenings and visual shows.

Do you fear confrontation with The Voice, broadcast the same evening on TF1?

Since the time I’ve been doing radio and TV, I’ve never been too interested in competition. Furthermore, history has shown, particularly with the success of the Champions Quiz, that the games could work in the first part of the evening. And I think it’s kind of cool for people who aren’t fans of talent show to have us face to face.

How do you explain that Each in turn was so well accepted at the start of the school year by a public that does not always welcome new things?

It’s rather reassuring. It means that he sometimes needs to be surprised and that creation is doing well. I am happy, moreover, to be in charge of a new format. Like everyone else, I had my period of purgatory. But, I knew that when I took over The Zamours. I was predicted catastrophic audiences. In fact, two years later, they were taller than when I was given the reins. So I guess people were happy to find my head each day.

Could you try your hand at acting?

Yes, I have just shot a fiction with Benabar and Benoit Poelvoorde in Belgium. It’s something that really appeals to me. I have also been offered a lot of things at the theater for two or three years. But it’s not very compatible with my rhythm as a morning radio worker and daily presenter. And I’m also very busy with the fiction that I co-wrote.

Your wife provides the voiceover for apartment hunters on M6. At home, are we allowed to talk about TV at dinner?

We can, even if my job remains a job. I am lucky to have friends who have nothing to do with this environment. When I get out of my host costume, it’s no longer the engine of my life…
