Bus & train cheaper than ever: Here you can get the 9-euro ticket now

Better to wait a little longer

Freiburg is making progress and is already making the 9-euro ticket available. If you want to buy it online, you end up paying 2.50 euros more for the 9-euro ticket – because of the nice shipping costs.

We recommend waiting with the purchase until the ticket is also available digitally, for example via an app. Nobody has to worry that he or she will get nothing with the 9-euro ticket. The offer is not limited.

Most transport associations are likely to wait until May 20 to start selling, the day on which the Bundestag will most likely wave the draft law through. From then on, the 9-euro ticket can be bought online at no additional cost and without queuing. The DB Navigator app is the best way to do this, but alternatively the 9-euro ticket can also be purchased via the apps of regional transport companies and associations. Examples are MVG Fahrinfo Munich, HVV App Hamburg or BVG-Fahrinfo App Berlin.
