Business award – The “women entrepreneurs of the year” have been chosen

Concentrated female power: The Styrian women take it into their own hands and actively implement ideas. On Monday evening, the “Entrepreneur of the Year” was awarded in four categories by the Chamber of Commerce. The “Krone” introduces the winners.

Best new founder: In the name of animal health
The start-up Aniveri founded by Michaela Hösele and Ulrike Walther in the middle of the pandemic is committed to animal health. Thanks to hair mineral analysis, the state of health of cats and dogs can be determined and a nutrition plan can then be drawn up. A veterinary monitoring tool is also available.

“Best perseverance”: family and company under control
Tanja Pschait has been leading the drywall construction company of the same name since 2018 and has shown enormous stamina as an entrepreneur. The challenge was a major housing project that coincided with the lockdown, continuation and management of her business despite pregnancy and the birth of her son.

“Best innovator”: tattoos after breast cancer
Jennifer Kribernegg began her training as a tattoo artist at the age of 15. She opened her studio Tattoo Arts by JK in Preding in 2007. There she and four employees, whom she trained herself, offer nipple reconstruction using a photo-realistic three-dimensional tattoo of the nipple as an innovative service.

Audience award: used baby items
Nicole Moser’s company Babyrella won the audience award. The start-up for sustainable children’s equipment opened in Graz in 2018 and has used high chairs and accessories, children’s room accessories and toys in its range. When selecting products, the focus is on high-quality sustainable materials.
