Even now, the PS5 is in short supply. Amazon had sold the disk version on December 28, but the contingent was sold out in no time at all. It was probably only a few devices anyway.
The console is currently out of stock on Amazon and there is no clear indication of any imminent replenishment. There were long rumors of a big sale at the end of 2021, but this never came.
Amazon disappointed as a seller
It gives the impression that Amazon is no longer a promising provider of PS5 consoles. Other retailers such as Euronics or Media Markt and Saturn are much more likely to surprise fans with more or less regular sales. Nevertheless, you should also keep an eye on the following links.

We recommend pre-subscribing to Prime as Amazon Prime members are sometimes given preferential treatment when selling consoles. If you’re not already a Prime subscriber, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to secure a right of first refusal on the console if the worst comes to the worst.

Alternatively or additionally you can win a PS5 at Nestlé or on eBay. If you don’t want to rely on your luck, then ask for consoles in local shops near you – such as Media Markt/Saturn, Conrad, GameStop or Expert.

If you can’t get hold of a console at the moment, you might be able to console yourself for the time being by purchasing the equally popular accessory. The Pulse 3D headset is currently available again.

Amazon also has SSDs compatible with the PS5 in its range. You can now install this in the console after a firmware update and thus expand your memory.
Leave the console in the shopping cart even if there is an error
If the PS5 is listed as available and you receive an error message when adding the console to the shopping cart, then try the following: First put the PS5 on your wish list and add it to the shopping cart from there.
If you cannot continue ordering the console in the shopping cart because there is an error message, then leave the PS5 in the shopping cart anyway and update it again regularly, even after several hours. An order may fail for another buyer and you can continue the purchase in the shopping cart with that item.
However, Amazon may remove the consoles from the shopping cart if they are not available. But you can give it a try.

We noticed that the retailer has already offered the console several times in the morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., but sometimes also at 1 p.m. in the afternoon. You obviously have the best chances in the first half of the day.
Beware of Marketplace offers
Third parties can also sell goods in the Amazon Marketplace. The PS5 is also regularly on offer here. However, the prices are significantly higher than set by Sony. So you pay up to 1,000 euros for the console in a bundle with a game. We advise you not to buy, because the offers are simply overpriced.
There are also available consoles on eBay or StockX, but we also advise against the overpriced offers. With online marketplaces like eBay, you also have to beware of scammers.
