(CercleFinance.com) – The CAFOM Group announces the sale of the goodwill of Distri Service, a company wholly owned by its subsidiary CAFOM Distribution, to a direct subsidiary of Vente-unique.com.
This operation covers all of the operational activity of Distri Service, which operates the logistics platform in Amblainville (Oise), and includes in particular the company’s assets and the transfer of personnel and commercial contracts.
Vente-unique.com will be able to offer an end-to-end service to customers, integrating logistics activities and the unique ability to deliver to 11 European countries.
This operation also strengthens the operational autonomy of Vente-unique.com vis-à-vis the CAFOM Group. Since the sale of Habitat Design International, Vente-Unique.com has become Distri Service’s only internal client of the CAFOM Group.
During the financial year ended September 30, 2021, Distri Service achieved a turnover of 29 ME, of which nearly 80% with Vente-unique.com.
The transaction, finalized on October 1, 2022, was made on the basis of a sale price of €2.8m. The company that took over the business, specially created for the occasion, is called Vente-unique.com Logistics AMB.
