The main trade unions of the RATP have called for a strike on the RER B for Saturday, the day of the Champions League final at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, in order to denounce the understaffing among drivers.

The CGT Métro-RER, the traction pole of FO, Unsa and La Base called in a leaflet on Monday to “strongly impact this event in order to bring the demands of the driving category to the management“.

The Champions League final is due to pit Liverpool against Real Madrid on Saturday. Initially planned in Saint Petersburg in Russia, it was relocated to the Stade de France after the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
