  • Call of Duty 2024 is set to release for PS4 and Xbox One.
  • A release for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is also conceivable.
  • A release for Nintendo Switch is unlikely.

There has not yet been an official announcement about Call of Duty 2024. Nevertheless, there are already various hints about the upcoming shooter, including a possible beta phase.

Another clue has now emerged, which the user Zuby_Tech shared on X (Twitter). According to his report, Call of Duty will be released in 2024 for the so-called last-gen consoles, i.e. PS4 and Xbox One.

Platforms and engine changes

In addition to the release for the last-gen consoles, it can be assumed that the title will also be released for the PC and the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. A release for Nintendo Switch is currently unlikely.

If the upcoming shooter actually appears for PS4 and Xbox One, this could mean that Call of Duty 2024 will be based on the same engine as Modern Warfare 3. This would probably also mean that you can hardly expect any graphical improvements compared to the previous title.
