In Call of Duty 2024, Zombie mode could bring back various familiar features from the series. Among other things, turn-based cards and the well-known Gobblegums should appear again.
The user DETONATED has now shared further news about recurring features on X (Twitter). According to his report, the wonder weapons Jetgun and Raygun will be available in the upcoming zombie mode.
The jet gun, also called the “Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23”, is one of the oldest wonder weapons in the shooter series. Most recently you could get them in the TranZit mode of “Black Ops 2”.
In the twelve-year-old game, the weapon functions like a vacuum cleaner, attracting and shredding zombies. However, if used for too long, it overheats, breaks and has to be reassembled.
The Raygun, in turn, is probably one of the most iconic wonder weapons in the shooter series. Since the release of Call of Duty: World at War, you’ve been able to find this weapon in almost every main title in the series. In Modern Warfare 3 you use it to fire green energy beams that explode and cause enormous damage to zombies.
