Call of Duty, the most powerful weapon in Game Pass?
In an interview with Bloomberg, Sarah Bond confirmed to journalist Dina Bass that all of Microsoft’s first-party games will be released in Game Pass in “day one”. Including, normally, Call of Duty titles. “We know our core users love Game Pass. Game Pass is a subscription that gives access to an entire portfolio of games, but above all, to each of the games we make from the first day of their release” explained Sarah Bond. Before adding: “the quality and breadth of these games have only increased over time. Over the course of the year, you’ll see other very important games coming to Game Pass”. “Coming from the Activision portfolio?” asks Dina Bass. “Across our entire range, you’re going to see some truly amazing things. And it’s essential for us that this remains something truly special for Xbox gamers” concludes Sarah Bond.
Although the response suggests that all Microsoft, Activision and Bethesda games will indeed arrive in Game Pass in “day one”, it is better to wait for real confirmation before getting carried away. Maybe during the Xbox Games Showcase which will take place in less than a month?
