Activision And Sledgehammer Games launched at the beginning of the month Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, new installment of the annual franchise. A title apparently developed in pain which obtained the worst license average on MetacriticYet, the players were there.
The studios share a press release to reveal some records for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, a little less fanfare than in previous years. No sales records on the PlayStation Store unlike usual, but “engagement” records for the last part of the reboot of the trilogy Modern Warfare. In short, it’s not a hit, but the studios are happy about it all the same, here are the records and a message of thanks from Sledgehammer Games :
- Two weeks after its release, MWIII represents the highest engagement rate of the trilogy.
- Players spent more hours on average on the game than on MW 2019 and MWII.
- MWZ is the most engaging tertiary mode in MW history.
- Campaign players on average invested more time per player than in the previous two games.
