Call of Duty: NFTs soon available in the license?

Very sensitive subject of recent weeks, Activision does not seem to want to stop at nothing. According to the leaker responding to the name of RalphsValve on Twitter, the studio giant would strongly consider integrating NFTs into the FPS franchise.

According to his tweet of April 4, Infinity Ward (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), would provide the possibility of personalizing his Activision account. For this, the studio would consider the integration of several elements which will therefore be personalized such as business cards, emblems, avatars, statistics, and the famous NFTs.

As of this writing, these are just rumors, but according to the leaker, Activision would strongly consider it. Nevertheless, it is worth remembering that this is risky, especially when we remember the backlash from EA when the studio announced that it was tempted by the idea. Moreover, Ubisoft did not hesitate to introduce this system, in particular with the creation of Ubisoft Quartz, just like Square-Enix.
