Free multiplayer action
Call of Duty free multiplayer weekends are a popular event. During the period called Free Weekend, players can play the multiplayer part extensively with friends and get an idea of the qualities of the shooter.
So far so good. However, publisher Activision has now announced a new event. This is how shooter fans can March 30th to April 13th Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer play for free. So a whole two weeks. That has never happened before!
The official multiplayer trailer gives you a little foretaste of the upcoming event:
What awaits you in Call of Duty: Vanguard?
Call of Duty: Vanguard puts you in a alternate scenario from World War II. The maps are mainly European, so you are, for example, on the road in destroyed Berlin or pay a visit to the Kehlsteinhaus in Bavaria.
But it will also be punctual for the free event two new maps enter: Casablanca and Gondola. The maps are mostly small and designed for fast action. So if you’ve ever played a CoD part, you know what to expect in Vanguard.
the single player campaign however, will not be playable for free. However, there will certainly be a discount on the digital version to match the event. At least that was mostly the case in the past.
Call of Duty: Vanguard has been available since early November 2021 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
