The Season 4 should arrive at the end of this month of June on Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard. Moreover, the developers of these two titles have already shared details about the content of this new season, in an article available on the official website.
It is, therefore, time to make a summary point regarding the new features brought by Season 4, on Vanguard and Warzone.
Warzone and Vanguard season 4 details
What’s new in Season 4, on Call of Duty: Warzone
First, thanks to Season 4, players will be able to compete on the map Fortune’s Keep, created by High Moon Studios, in Resurgence mode. This has dimensions quite similar to Rebirth Island and will offer four points of interest (POI): “Town”, “Smuggler’s Cove”, “Keep” and “Winery”.
It will also be an opportunity to discover new features, namely “Black Market Run Contracts” and “Cash Extraction”. This first novelty will invite players to join a “Black Market Buy Station”, within a given time, in order to obtain items not available in the classic refueling stations. Conversely, “Cash Extraction” will ask teams to collect as much money as possible and then exfiltrate, or else hunt their opponents.
Second, the developers decided to return to the “Storage Town” point of interest on the map Caldera. Furthermore, a dozen POIs of the said map will change with Season 4. This new season will also bring the armored SUVs and the EMP grenade, allowing to jam the radars of the opponents.
And that’s not all. Indeed, via this Season 4, new game modes will be introduced: “Looting”, “Loot in Gold” (victory obtained by collecting 5,000,000 dollars – 120 players), as well asa Mercenaries eventwhich will offer 8 challenges to complete to earn cosmetic items.
Finally, the teams in charge of Call of Duty: Warzone also gave first information concerning mid season updatewhich should bring the “Rebirth of the Dead” mode and a highlighting of the Rebirth Island map in the rotations.
Season 4 and its content for Call of Duty: Vanguard
Call of Duty: Vanguard will also welcome new features, thanks to Season 4, including two new cards for multiplayer. These are the following maps: “USS Texas 1945”, available from launch, and “Desolation” integrated via the mid-season update. As it concerns zombie modeplayers will fight on the “Shi No Numa” map in turn-based gameplay and will have to complete a new main quest, named “Wonder Weapon”.
Obviously, of new weapons will be introduced, for the occasion, including the Marco 5, the Push Dagger, the Vargo-S and the UGM-8, as well as new operators : Carver Butcher, Callum Hendry and Ikenna Olowe.
