Slimmed little brother
Parallel to the 530, the 400 is offered, which takes over its engine from the predecessor or the Beverly. It is noticeably lighter at 260 kg, but only delivers 35 hp and 38 Nm. You can tell the difference, but even the little one has absolutely enough motorization and you don’t miss the extra power, especially when you’re driving solo in the city. Piaggio specifies 135 instead of 145 km/h as the top speed, but the 400 is 0.2 l/100 km more economical. The equipment is significantly lower, but includes integral ABS, LED lights, keyless system and the 7-inch TFT display. The cell phone connectivity Piaggio MIA costs extra, but is available in contrast to radar, reverse gear & Co.
