This Tuesday, April 30, 2024, King Charles III visited the Macmillan at University College Hospital in London, a specialized cancer medical center. A visit which took place late in the morning in the British capital and which has a strong symbolic value, the father of Prince William himself being fighting against the disease.
Unsurprisingly, the resumption of some of the king’s commitments was done with the prior agreement of his doctors, the latter showing themselves “very encouraged by the progress made so far and remain optimistic about the continued recovery of the king”, as announced by the royal Buckingham Palace on April 26. Another predictable element during this resumption of activity on the part of Charles III: the presence of his wife, Queen Camilla Parker-Bowles at his side.
