Camilla’s incendiary letters calling her a “stupid creature”

As Andrew Norton relates in his new book, Diana, in pursuit of loveCamilla Parker-Bowles referred to Diana Spencer in terms of “stupid creature”. In particular, she asked the Prince to stop making him feel guilty “after the attacks of this stupid creature”, referring to her husband as “a stuffed weasel”. In these letters, Lady Di also witnessed the complete and detailed account fiery nights that her husband lived with his mistress, but also discovered the names of their friends in common, accomplices of this affair. Diana Spencer will eventually file for divorce in 1992, revealing their respective infidelity to the whole world. A separation that freed Prince Charles from a burden: his love for Camilla Parker-Bowles was no longer a secret.
