In tonight’s episode, the members of “Camping Paradis” fly to Reunion to celebrate a wedding. Unfortunately, Juliette Chêne (Stéphanie) and Thierry Heckendorn (André) are absent subscribers. Find out why…
TF1 is broadcasting this Monday July 17 a new unpublished episode of Camping Paradis, entitled “The Blues in Reunion”, which sees Tom, Xavier and Audrey fly to Reunion to attend the wedding of Max (Quentin Thebault), the son of Christian Parizot. For the wedding to go off without a hitch, the Blues will have to bring together the Parizot father and son, who have become strangers to each other.
They will also have the difficult task of bringing to light the unspoken toxic between the bride and her mother, played by Rebecca Hampton, alias Céline Frémont in Plus belle la vie, who gave her opinion on a potential return to the soap opera.
Why are Stéphanie and André absent?
After Corsica and the ski resort of Morzine, the Camping Paradis team is leaving the beaches of the Mediterranean for the third time to go this time to Reunion. For the occasion, Laurent Ournac, Patrick Guérineau, Candiie and Patrick Paroux therefore made the trip to the paradise island to film this new special episode.
The most seasoned viewers will however not fail to notice that two actors are absent subscribers. Juliette Chêne, who plays Stéphanie, Tom’s companion, and Thierry Heckendorn, who plays André, were indeed unable to travel the ten thousand kilometers that separate them from Reunion.
Questioned by Allociné, Richard Berkowitz, the producer of Camping Paradis, returned to the reasons for these absences. “Juliette Chêne was pregnant when this episode was filmed, so she couldn’t make the trip to Reunion, it wasn’t possible“, he thus explained.
“For Thierry, André’s presence in the plot didn’t really work, so we made the choice not to include him. And, incidentally, it was a long trip. And Thierry is as old as he is…”
These two absences were of course included in the scenario of this special episode. André is forced to stay in France to look after his grandchildren, while Stéphanie is stuck with work.
Of course, both characters will be back in the next episode of Camping Paradis,”A boy band in paradise”, which will be broadcast on Monday July 24 on TF1. The opportunity for the members of the campsite to welcome Franck Delay, one of the members of 2Be3, and Anthony Dupray, alias Anthony in Premiers Baisers and Les Années Fac, who will play the members of a star boy band from the 90s.
This event episode should come to confirm the success of Camping Paradis, which even after 17 years on the air, remains one of the strong brands of TF1.
