Regularly, Capcom updates its list of Platinum Titles, games that have sold over one million copies. A list that does not change much, but that allows you to follow the evolution of certain titles on the market, and the remake of Resident Evil 2 has just exceeded 10 million copies sold.
Recently, the Japanese studio announced that it had sold 6 million copies of Devil May Cry 5even though Monster Hunter: World remains the king with its 18.5 million copies soldwithout forgetting Monster Hunter World: Iceborne which has 9.7 million copies sold or even monster hunter rise, more recent and a hit. Here is the top 10 list of Platinum Titles of Capcom as of September 30, 2022:
- 1: Monster Hunter: World – 18.5 million;
- 2: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard – 11.3 million;
- 3: monster hunter rise – 11.2 million;
- 4: Resident Evil 2 (Remake) – 10.1 million;
- 5: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – 9.7 million;
- 6: Resident Evil 5 : 8.5 million;
- 7: Resident Evil 6 : 8.5 million;
- 8: Street Fighter V – 6.8 million;
- 9: Resident Evil Village – 6.6 million;
- 10: Street Fighter II (SNES): 6.3 million.
The sales figures of RE Village should continue to climb in the coming months, Capcom just launched last week a Gold Editionavailable against €44.99 on Gamesplanet.
