This Sunday, January 2, 2022, M6 will broadcast a new issue of Capital from 9:05 p.m. Presented by Julien Courbet, the show will focus on short circuits, bread vending machines and store trucks.
An issue not to be missed! This Sunday, January 2, 2022, Julien courbet will present an unpublished issue of Capital. This time, the show will have as theme: Short circuits, distributors, truck stores: the new battle of commerce! Short circuits represent today between 15 and 20% of the food basket, i.e. double the number 10 years ago. While bread distributors are invading the countryside, David and Angélique have invested in 35 bread distributors and have thus multiplied their turnover by 10! On the show, David explained: “We impose ourselves every day, we throw. That’s part of the game. People, they pay for fresh bread, surely there’s no way they’ll have bread from the day before. Although I know some do. And these are the ones who gave distributors a bad image.“
On average, a distributor sells breads and pastries for 1,500 euros per month. David rents it 350 euros to its manufacturer. Between wages and raw materials, it costs 730 euros per month. At the end of the month, the trader makes a monthly profit of 400 euros! Today it makes more than a million euros in annual turnover, four times more than the industry average! In this issue of Capital, viewers will also discover the story of Victor, who, to save his business, decided to sell his shells in short circuits and now earns three times as much money. “It was tough, I didn’t have the sales channels that I have today. We sold either under auction or to wholesalers, but the price was also less interesting. The auction price is 2.21 euros on opening days. At 2 euros we don’t make a living, what“, he declared. Once sorted, he sells more than half of his catch on the Pourdebon site. Victor sells his shells for 7.50 euros per kilo at the platform, which is at least three times more than what he is offered at the auction!

In this issue of Capital, warehouse trucks will also be highlighted. Today, the French no longer need to travel to have their hair done, try on new glasses or even have their cars repaired. In towns and villages alike, more than 115,000 people have their stores in their trucks. The opportunity to learn more about this sales method and its success!
