Another sequel is in the works

Marvel fans can look forward to “Captain America 4”. Screenwriters are currently working on the fourth film in the superhero series.
Good news for Marvel fans: there will be a fourth “Captain America” movie. The industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter” reportsthat a sequel to the successful film series is currently in the works. Accordingly, the screenwriters Malcolm Spellman (“Empire”) and Dalan Musson are currently working together on the new project. The authors created the Disney + series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” around the Marvel hero, the last episode of which was released on the streaming platform on Friday.
Who is playing Captain America?
It is not yet known who will slip into the role of Captain America and which other actors will be part of the film project. It is conceivable that the film could continue the story of the character Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie (42), from “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”. The series’ first season finale leaves open a few possible directions in which the story could develop.
Chris Evans (39) played the main character in the first three films about the superhero, “Captain America: The First Avenger” (2011), “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain America: Civil War” (2016). He said goodbye to the role with “Avengers: Endgame” 2019 for the time being.
