Car slipped into truck – accident with truck in Saalachtal ended lightly

A Pinzgau woman was extremely lucky on Friday morning in the snow flurry in St. Martin near Lofer! When crossing the B311, she slipped into the intersection when a truck came rushing. The drivers were no longer able to prevent the vehicles from colliding, but were uninjured.

The 40-year-old local couldn’t brake in time on the snowy road and slipped into the intersection. On the B311, her car was hit by the truck of a 51-year-old Austrian. Since the truck driver reacted quick as lightning, the vehicles only touched the sides at the front. Therefore, both drivers remained uninjured. The car suffered significant damage, and the truck was able to leave the scene of the accident on its own. The alcohol tests carried out were negative.
