The Sunday evening talk is changing: Caren Miosga is looking forward to the upcoming political discussions and a redesign of the format.

“Anne Will” will become “from January”Caren Miosga”: The former “Tagesthemen” presenter is expected to start her first political talk show on January 21, 2024. The new format, which after 16 years succeeds the talk show moderated by journalist Anne Will (57), will then be broadcast every Sunday evening can be seen on Das Erste at 9:45 p.m.

Caren Miosga wants to reshape the political conversation

Caren Miosga (54) and her team are very much looking forward to this new task, as she said in a press release from NDR on Tuesday: “We want to reshape the political conversation in our own way. It’s important to us to make it easier to understand how significant decisions in politics, economy, culture and society come about.”

Similar to “Anne Will”, in the future the most important topic of the week will be discussed in more detail with relevant representatives in the slot on Sunday evenings. Different positions and perspectives on the respective topic should be made clear so that there is value for discussion for the coming week.

Sunday evenings with political discussions have been established on ARD since 1998: As broadcaster NDR announced, the future set of “Caren Miosga” is currently being installed in the studio in Berlin-Adlershof. This started right after the last issue, “Anne Will”.
