The book author Carol Higgins Clark is dead. As her family announced, she succumbed to cancer at the age of 66.

American author and actress Carol Higgins Clark has died. As reported, among other things, by the “Washington Post”, citing a statement from the family, the creator of humorous mystery novels died on June 12 in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 66. She succumbed to complications from appendicitis. She also worked on detective Christmas novels with her mother, the famous crime writer Mary Higgins Clark (1927-2020).

Carol Higgins Clark was also active as an actress. For example, in 1975 she had a role in the series Who Killed Amy Lang, which aired on the ABC show Good Morning America. She also starred in the Wendy Wasserstein play Uncommon Women and starred in the film A Cry In The Night, based on one of her mother’s novels.

Carol Higgins Clark was born on July 28, 1956 in Manhattan and grew up in Washington Township in northern New Jersey. Her father died when she was only eight years old.
