In strongholds like Cologne, the carnival cancellation hurts the most. Carolin Kebekus now expresses concerns that not everyone knows about it.

In the Corona crisis, of course, Carnival is not to be thought of in the stronghold of Cologne. But has all of the revelers there received that? Comedian Carolin Kebekus (40, "Pussyterror") worries about this in an interview with the "Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger". "I hope that we can do everything well in terms of security," says Kebekus. Before 11/11 A lot of posters were still posted in the city to tell the population to stay at home. Now she doesn't see anything: "Do the people of Cologne know that Carnival is canceled?"

She, too, personally regrets the cancellation: "The fact that the street carnival is canceled is of course shitty, it hurts every Cologne's heart." Celebrating anyway is not an option for them. She would like to meet people too, but she has way too much respect for them. Also because she knows too many people who have or have had Corona. "A friend of mine has had no sense of smell or taste for months," says Kebekus. And that wouldn't even be called a severe course.
