Carrefour recruits two leaders at Veolia and Suez


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Carrefour announced Thursday two appointments to its executive committee as well as the creation of a new management.

“The creation of a Commitment department, positioned at the highest level of group governance, reflects Carrefour’s desire to strengthen and further embody its ambition in the areas of the environment, diversity, of inclusion and solidarity, which are at the heart of its corporate responsibility”, commented the group in a press release.

MAIN POINTS OF THE PRESS RELEASE:

-Carine Kraus is appointed Director of Engagement, member of the group’s executive committee, on February 1, 2022. Since 2020, she has been in charge of sustainable development for the Veolia group.

-Alice Rault is appointed Director of Strategy and Transformation, member of the Group’s Executive Committee, on March 1, 2022. She had been Chief Transformation Officer of the Suez Group since 2019.
