(CercleFinance.com) – At the end of an exclusivity period which was renewed on April 24 and ends today, TERACT and the Casino group have decided, by mutual agreement, not to continue their discussions .
TERACT and Casino had entered into exclusive discussions aimed at creating a French leader in responsible and sustainable distribution and potentially leading to the consolidation of the distribution activities of the two groups in France and the establishment of common supply chains.
“The Casino Group and TERACT nevertheless remain open to discussions on a potential operational partnership, which could relate to bakery, viennoiserie & pastry products and would also include the conclusion of a contract for the development of fruit and vegetable sectors with TERACT” indicates the group.
The group recalls that the conciliation procedure opened on May 25, 2023 for the benefit of Casino Guichard Perrachon SA and some of its subsidiaries is following its course according to the planned schedule.
