CASINO RECEIVED 3 PRELIMINARY OFFERS TO BUY GREENYELLOW, SOURCE SAYS
PARIS (Reuters) – Casino has so far received three preliminary offers, worth around 1.5 billion euros each, to buy its renewable energy subsidiary GreenYellow, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday.
The source added that other potential buyers had asked for more time before submitting a possible offer.
In mid-May, Casino had confirmed press reports that the group had launched a process to sell GreenYellow with a view to a potential transaction by the end of the year.
The group had at that time specified that it had not taken any final decision on this project.
