Catana: 10% increase in revenues in the first half

(AOF) – Catana recorded growth of 10% in the first half to 104 million euros. The specialist in the construction of pleasure catamarans emphasizes that it is “in line with expectations” “in a more wait-and-see market context after several years of euphoria”. He adds that this growth was achieved “in a more complex market than in recent years, with contrasting situations”.

Indeed, while large boats (over 1 million euros) are currently very popular, small units seem to suffer more.

“The significant increase in the price of boats, taking into account the hyperinflation recorded in 2022 and 2023, and the evolution of interest rates were also unfavorable elements in the customer decision-making process. The current trend on the evolution interest rates is therefore from this point of view a more favorable first indicator”, explains Catana.
