RSA and family allowances also affected
As for RSA beneficiaries, the allowance for a single person will increase from 607.75 euros 635.71 euros per month (i.e. 27.96 euros more per month). For those receiving family allowances, the amount of this aid was until now a maximum of 141.99 euros for two children (up to 74,966 euros of annual income) and 35.50 euros for families declaring more than 99,922 euros of income per year. from May 6, the amount of the allocation will therefore be 148.52 euros maximum for the first case and 39.23 euros for the second. As a reminder, family allowances are paid automatically from the second child, without means conditions.
The 4.6% revaluation could well be the last. Indeed, the increase in social costs based on the rise in prices may not be renewed in 2025. Thomas Cazenave, Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts, recently suggested the possibility of not adjusting certain benefits to the rate of inflation next year.
