(Boursier.com) — Catana Group shows a first quarter of 2021-2022 in strong growth (+64%) with a turnover of 29.74 million euros, confirming the annual forecasts announced. Already having high-performance industrial tools ready to absorb this level of production, the group announces that it has managed to recruit 164 people since the start of the year, including 120 in France, despite a shortage of candidates. The roadmap still provides for the creation of nearly 70 additional positions in France over the next 4 months.

Catana Group is not immune to the strong tension that weighs on the delivery of raw materials, resulting in organizational adaptations that require a lot of agility and can generate additional costs. Despite some disruptions in deliveries, the group specifies that the situation remains under control and does not call into question the objectives of very strong profitable growth for the current financial year.

Despite the recent cancellation of the Düsseldorf boat show, the group has been able to take part in numerous worldwide boat shows since last September, thus making it possible to show the extent of its ranges, including many new products that had not been able to be presented until then. to the general public, due to the health crisis. The news will also be sustained in the coming months with the expected releases of the new BALI 4.4 and the brand new model of the CATANA brand, the OCEAN CLASS.

Over the current financial year, after the €27.8 million in sales of new boats invoiced in this first quarter, the order book represents an additional invoicing potential of €133 million, i.e. a turnover of €160 million over the current exercise. 190 ME of orders have already been signed for the next financial year 2022-2023 and the visibility also extends to the 2023-2024 financial year with already 80 ME of firm orders.
