Cate Blanchett caused a flurry of flashbulbs at the Berlinale in a colorful skirt and low back.
Hollywood star Cate Blanchett (53) shows courage to use color: At the Berlinale premiere of her film “Tar”, the Oscar winner walked the red carpet in a colorful flounced skirt. In addition, she combined a black turtleneck sweater and a wide waist belt – also in black. However, it was not nearly as high-necked as the outfit seemed at first glance.
The tight-fitting top boasted a low-cut back, which the actress repeatedly cheekily presented to the waiting photographers. Golden ear studs and filigree rings on the fingers completed her wow appearance. The 53-year-old wore her hair open in light waves, and the Australian-US actress also kept her make-up simple.
With her new film “Tar” Blanchett has the best prospects for her third Oscar. She’s competing in the Best Actress category and has won both the Golden Globes and the Baftas. In Germany, the strip will start in cinemas on February 23.
