Fault ? Salaries too low in catering. The compensation ? All of the 180 Grands Buffets employees will be increased by an average of 30%. Or a jump on pay slips ranging from 250 euros to 900 euros net per month.

Employees are classified into two categories. Those whose schedules are less strenuous, in particular because they work continuously and do not suffer the tiring afternoon break for catering members, will be increased by 20%. This is the case of storekeepers or divers, who will earn 300 euros net more per month, the new ones being rewarded with an entry salary into the company of 1,750 euros – higher than the minimum wage which most must be satisfied with. storekeepers. This sum will also be the “minimum wage for the Grands buffets”, since no employee should be paid below this amount. For the others, whose arduousness is much greater, given the time constraints and this disastrous break – despite the four-day week set up for them in the establishment more than twenty years ago -, the increase will be 35%.
