Victim of various health problems in recent months, Catherine Matausch reappeared on social networks this Sunday, August 14. The journalist from France 3 has indeed posted a photo of her on Instagram where she appears absolutely radiant.
An essential figure on France 3 since 1988, Catherine Matausch had to take a few months off the air for medical reasons. In an interview granted to TV Grandes Chaînes last June, the 62-year-old journalist had indeed revealed that she suffered from serious health problems. “Life has been complicated for a year and a half. I chained several sick leaves because, among other things, of lung cancer”she explained, ensuring, however, to go “better”.
And this Friday, August 12, viewers were able to find Catherine Matausch, again at the controls of the JT, the 19/20. A return that the presenter did not fail to savor. On Instagram this Sunday, August 14, she expressed her immense joy to be back on the air. “Coming back from vacation and finding you so faithful to the 19/20: it’s a great happiness for me”wrote the journalist in the caption of a selfie where she appears with a smile on her face and a radiant face.

And Catherine Matausch was not the only one to look forward to her return to France 3. Many viewers turned on their television sets to watch the 19/20 broadcast. “Friday August 12, 2022, 2.59 million viewers, 19.9%: a record audience share this season., announced Catherine Matausch, before expressing her gratitude, still on her Instagram post. “I’m moved, thanks to you.
