Dragon Ball Heroes is a production played with physical cards, initially available via arcade machines in the Land of the Rising Sun. The franchise was entitled to a version 2, known as Super Dragon Ball Heroes who, in passing, was invited on the various platforms Nintendoas Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission on Switch. Bandai Namco announces a brand new game, succeeding this universe: Dragon Ball Super Divers.
New screens, new way of playing, new format… The Japanese firm is starting from scratch and killing the “Heroes” franchise in the process. During an interview, the producer clarified that Super Dragon Ball Heroes will no longer update, new missions, nor even new maps. However, a mode will be included in the machine to use its cards collected so far; provoking the anger of certain players.
For now, the new rules have not been communicatedbut the giant will provide more information during the Jump Victory Carnival 2024 (manga event in the Archipelago, a bit like the Japan Expo). The world of cards is a hit in the four corners of the world… It remains to be seen whether Bandai Namco will offer this type of terminal from us or, in the worst case, a “console” version to have fun with Dragon Ball Super Miscellaneous.
