Rarely has a royal trip been so overshadowed by scandals as that of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales to Boston. But there were also bright spots behind the scenes that the couple has now revealed.
When Prince William, 40, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, 40, landed in Boston on November 30, 2022, a real racism scandal broke out in their British homeland. William had to act, made a statement through a spokesman. During their visit to the TD Garden Stadium – where they actually wanted to support the Boston Celtics in a basketball game – the Prince and Princess of Wales were then booed by some spectators. Just a day later, the explosive first trailer of Duchess Meghan, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, Netflix docuseries, which should have shaken the royal family.
After all, the third and final day of Catherine and Williams’ stay in the USA provided unforgettable moments. Special photos were taken at the “Earthshot Prize Awards”, which the couple are now publishing on their official social media channels.

These are moments that the public has never seen before and that Catherine and William show in a particularly intimate atmosphere. On Instagram, they share four black and white behind-the-scenes moments from the “Earthshot Prize Awards” ceremony in Boston on December 2nd.
In the first photo, the heir to the British throne and his sweetheart look deep into each other’s eyes. Another moment when their eyes meet is picture number four in the picture gallery. There, Catherine cheers for her husband, who is on stage in front of the microphone.
