Prince William will complete some appointments in the service of the crown on Friday, May 10, 2024. The heir to the throne also talks about his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, and reveals how she is doing now after her cancer diagnosis.

Prince William, 41, who also became the Duke of Cornwall after the death of Queen Elizabeth, †96, has been traveling in the county of the same name since Thursday, May 9, 2024, on a tour of the Isles of Scilly. On Thursday, the heir to the throne visited a housing project to combat increasing homelessness and later appeared at the popular surfing beach in Newquay, where he played volleyball, among other things. On Friday, May 10th, the Prince will continue his journey and give an update on the health of Catherine, Princess of Wales, 42, at another appointment.

Prince William gives health update on Catherine, Princess of Wales

On Friday morning, Prince William of Tresco, one of the smaller islands, arrives in the port of St. Mary’s. There he pays a visit to St. Mary’s Community Hospital. While he is talking to the employees and looking around the clinic, he talks about his wife. Since Catherine announced that she was suffering from cancer in an emotional video message at the end of March, she has been undergoing treatment and has temporarily stepped down from royal service. Now, according to the Daily Mail, the 41-year-old emphasizes that his loved one is doing “well.” However, he does not reveal any further details.

The children are jealous of his trip

Shortly before, Prince William was warmly welcomed at the harbor. First, the royal stopped at a café to have a small snack – he obviously found it difficult to choose due to the huge selection of baked goods. He then started talking to a group of schoolchildren who, along with numerous other royal fans, were waiting for the son of King Charles, 75.

During his stay in the British county, Prince William also revealed that his children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, were “very jealous” of his trip, according to The Sun. So he might want to return to Cornwall with his kids later this year.
